    • They seem to move their products from one store to another when not selling. In the process of moving products from one store to another, let's them start the price over again. Also if the box is opened, especially light fixtures as to have the box open and check if all parts are intact and not damaged or missing products

    • I owned and operated 3 successful businesses in Luzerne County. I felt glad to see this local business owner, John Foley, the owner of name brand liquidations, doing well. That is until I met him. He has become resentful of his customers, angry to do his job, condescending toward the public, and all the while happy to take our money. He treated me like a child and I will never give him my business again. I suggest the public not do so either. This owner has forgotten the #1 asset to any business. The customer.

    • You can get really good buys in this place. I got an instant, set up Beach shelter/tent in a carrying bag with stakes for less than $5 and a power washer regularly sold for $250 for only $50. You are supposed to make an appointment to be able to get in but they do sometimes allow walk-ins depending on the amount of people still in the store. I'd recommend calling ahead and getting an appointment. They have such a variety of things and you never know what you will find and for a great price.

    • Their selection has seriously expanded since I was there last. Unfortunately, it is still a gamble on the price based on the date. There doesn't seem to be anyone available to help decode the boxes that have little or no information. Another thing I only noticed today is that some products are misidentified and therefore priced wrong. Ultimately, it is not a terrible place to shop and save a little money. As the customer, you need to watch what you're buying and hope it's still there when you come back. If you want the best price it has to sit on their shelves for 3 months.

    • I was recently there with my 5 year old and she grabbed a sale sticker off of a box and put it on herself! Some lady took her to the register and wanted to buy her. That's when one of the associates, Sam, stepped in. He saw my distress at someone trying to buy my child and decided to help in the situation. He informed the lady that today the child was 60% off, but if she came back tomorrow the child would be 70% off! The lady understood that logic and thanked Sam for helping her today. I thanked Sam for helping with the situation, purchased my child and took her home safe.

    • This was my favorite place when it first opened! However now it seems like they are getting greedy, it was advertised and opened as a bargain bins and now half of the items are price as marked.. every time I went in there was one specific employee who seems to always single me out about my kids, but it seemed like never said anything to anyone else.. I understand it can get busy and a lot can be going on at once, and it seems to stress out some of the employees, and they can get a bit rude. When I would check out the cashier would have to leave to ask for prices because everything is priced different now and it holds up the lines as well!

    • If you've ever wanted to be ripped off by a supposed bargain bin place have I got the store for you! They determine prices by the day you visit – meaning that you can purchase products that retailed as low as $1 for $10, what a steal! Half the items you pick up in the bins clearly show price tags of them being sold for less, so at least they don't always attempt to scam you (or maybe they're too neglectful). MAYBE some of the stuff would be worth their prices on $1 Wednesdays but I'd imagine that's by the time anything half decent is picked apart, just hoping to get rid of the junk so they can make room for their next round of Goodwill rejects. While Goodwill's bins were far from sanitary, at least they had some value.

    • Unique shopping experience . First time shopping here, never know what could be in the bins, some items not worth the cost on a Saturday, but just come back on a Thursday when prices are cheaper. Positive experience overall.

    • Unfortunately, the experience at this store has changed significantly for the worse since the current manager took over. It used to be a busy, welcoming, and family-friendly place; now it feels tense and uncomfortable.<br><br>The manager’s attitude is heavy, confrontational, and often rude, even toward children, whom she scolds inappropriately for a customer-oriented and family-focused environment. The lack of respect and basic customer service is evident and has clearly affected the number of customers and the overall atmosphere of the store.<br><br>This review is not meant to attack, but rather to bring this situation to the attention of the owners so they can evaluate the quality of leadership and customer service currently being provided. A business may have a good product, but without respectful, empathetic treatment of customers, it is difficult to succeed. I truly hope the necessary adjustments are made so this place can regain the positive environment it once had.

    • The manager at the edwardsville store was absolutely horrid when I visited the store this week. She was rude, cursing at customers and employees and it made my shopping experience at that store regretful. The employees are amazing! The manager, not at all. Besides her making the environment uncomfortable the store and other employees are amazing!

    • The owner is very nice when I had spoke with him to get a shipping update however I am pretty disappointed in the box 🙁 I gathered the kids and my fiancé to open the box together and we didn’t get anything of much value. I ordered the premium $70 box and even tipped $10 we received a water bottle, a pack of wall outlet extenders, baby toys that go on a car seat (we don’t have any babies) a water bottle for a dog, a sports bra that’s way too small for me, some small rope thing that we have no idea what it’s for, a bottle of vitamins, plastic sticks to label veggies for a garden which we don’t have, a case for a Nintendo switch light which we also don’t have, and a pack of 3 pop it’s which was the only thing the kids enjoyed 🙁

    • I was so excited when this place opened near Pittsburgh! I have been there 3 times and it gets better each time. If you don't like the mystery boxes, they have bins of items to buy at about a quarter of the retail price. But I love a mystery box! I bought a huge one (they call it a coffin box) and I was NOT disappointed. Easily had 5 times the value of what I paid - Beats headphones, cell phones, portable chargers, a TON of stuff. I went back and got 2 more big boxes. Not the level of electronic as in my first box, but I'd say the value of the contents was at least double what I paid. I'll definitely be back!

    • I ordered a box back in April and they never send it and never refunded my money. I had send emails, messages and calls and no one person response. If they can't send it they need to refund the money. I was disappointed because I was giving them a second chance, but again I got scam out of $200 plus the $10 I left as a tip. Very sad.

    • The store is set up with giant blue bins that are full of shoes and clothes and a variety of other stuff. You have to spend time and dig for things, but I found a lot of name brand items. If you have the time and aren't picky then you can find some decent clothes. Is recommended checking it out at least once. Also they charge by the weight of clothes. $1.29 per pound of clothing.
      Kat
    • I cannot stress how great this place is. Great merchandise, decent amount of high end designer pieces, many items with original tags, polite employees and really great regular customers. It's pretty rare to see aggressive behavior here. I want to address the negative comments people made...some were simply not true. The others clearly just don't "get it". How do you think they can offer the merchandise for $1.29 a lb? You want racks, things catagorized, full service, etc? Then be prepared to absorb those costs by paying higher prices. Nothing is free people (unless you're goodwill itself of course. lol). To the manager, your responses are articulate and impressively tempered. Keep up the good work my friend.
      Carmen
    • The workers here are absolutely amazing. The first time I went, someone explained to me how it worked, and every time after that the workers have been nothing but nice. The customers on the other hand? Absolutely awful. This place draws a very specific crowd, mostly resellers, who are very rude. They'll leave their carts in the middle of the aisle, steal all the carts even though everyone is only supposed to use one, and congregate around new bins so much so that the workers sometimes can't even get them out. I love the finds I've gotten here, and love how awesome all the workers are, and most of the customers really need to realize just how hard they work.

    • This store has really gone downhill. They used to utilize both doors (one in the front with limited parking and one in the back next to the big parking lot) but now you have to walk around the building if you park in the bigger lot, which is okay if you're younger but I feel bad for elderly or people with disabilities. The inside is dirty and disorganized and stuff is just thrown in bins so most things are broken or scattered. I used to come here all the time but will not be back

    • This is the perfect store for casual Goodwill shoppers and the hardcore pickers. Half of the store has big bins that are wheeled out with unsorted items. You have to pick through and items are sold by weight. Some people love that (like my son) and have the patience and reap the rewards.
      Jeffrey
    • One of the best kept secret of Goodwill. You pay per pound. Some deals are good some are not so much. If you find a great deal good for you! Look through the last chance bins for treasures that others have passed over
      Steve
    • Good outlet for clothing, but be prepared for swarming when new bins are brought out. Clothing gangs are like piranha, but miss so much in their frenzy. Wares are always hit or miss. Bathroom next door in the regular store.

    • The first think I wanna say is how awesome the 2 upfront workers at the cashier are. They are literally the most pleasant, kind and patient people even when customers are rude or not listening. This outlet center is one of the smaller ones but they keep ot pretty clean. There is a bathroom. No vending machines so bring snacks because you could stay all day as they flip the bins pretty often. I do highly enjoy this place!

    • Goodwill is not like it used to BE , All i know this is donated stuff from people to help the poor or low income people or people that want to save money because its not worth going to a store to buy crazy priced on NAME BRAND things or NON name brand it's outrageous. See i shop in Goodwills everywhere. But some of these stores are out of hand selling stuff like it is brand new & somethings that are not worth buying because there are damaged. Listen i donate to people that is in need then me donating stuff for people can charge for that i make a garage sale to help me pay my bills lol js. These owners of these stores better off making a better business if they wanna make money but goodwills wasn't like this back then. that are not or should not be sold for so much. But things are going up like rent food clothes electric ect ect i get it but this business is not to over price things its in some goodwills.

    • There aren't really signs to point you where to go. See attached photo for the entrance. Didn't see much furniture. It's mostly bins of clothing. I've been to locations in other states where clothing was by the pound, furniture was priced individually, and dish ware and books were x for $x. At this location, everything is $1.89/lb.

    • I am continually frustrated when I enter the store and there are no carts available. There are usually no carts outside either. There are customers who fill a cart and set it at the front of the store and go fill another cart. Staff has said they are not allowed to do this but no one stops them. The one woman manager will make an announcement and help you get a cart.
      Kelly
    • This was my first visit to this Goodwill. My wife and I walked in the door and just stopped to take it all in. The building was large. There was rows of blue bins about 4' x 8' x 1-1/2' deep everywhere. They were on carts at waist level and filled to the top. People with masks and gloves were digging for treasures. My wife and I came out of our fog and started digging in, too. I found a pink flamingo by Don Featherstone. I knew better than to put it down. When we checked out, they charged by the pound. My purchase cost 66 cents. It was fun. We will get back there soon when we have more time.
      Ken
    • So much stuff to dig through.. pricing is very reasonable although I was hoping that it would be the same as Oregon where if you bought less than 25 lbs it would be one price and if you bought over 25 lbs it would be a lower price...1.49 a pound isn't bad tho..I did buy A LOT! The staff is very friendly..the only thing I didn't like is the parking lot right in front of the store was extremely dirty..trash everywhere as if no one ever sweeps out there...makes for a bad first impression of the store itself. I will definitely shop again in the future as I have a clothing addiction and this is the cheapest way to satisfy that addiction

    • Not a handicap funny place. Goodwill closed the more accessible location!!!!! And I'm not surprised to see that another reviewer had the same issues I did with rude customers blocking handicap van by illegally parking next to it, only a young child could have gotten between the vehicles. And they lost a star because there was an employee in the parking lot talking to the woman and he said nothing to her about the way she parked or ask her to move so we could get into our vehicle. Employees did not seem nice and funny either

    • Great selection of items. Many items do not have prices and it seems when asked the price of those items, they are higher than comparable items priced next to it. Overall, a good liquidation warehouse with a some great deals.

    • They are dishonest when it comes to passing their purchase. Products that had on their label that cost between $1 and $7 all cost $7, including products that visibly would not cost that. They passed extra products, perhaps the same product twice. And this was not something exclusive to this visit, I have had similar problems in other purchases. I recommend that you check out your note in detail in the store.

    • I was not happy.its more of a treasure hunt. I guess they only but out the good items when you pay a lot more on different days. I went on 2 dollar day. I don't thing so. Lot of people buying leaving with 2.shopping cart full of items they had to hunt throughout the big long tables. , bed room slippers a lot but like I said hunt for the pair and size. Good luck who like to hunt when shopping.

    • Probably the cheapest prices I have ever seen in the whole US. We bought some $30 worth toys for $3. Definitely worth a trip. They have $1 days, $3 days, $5 days. We visited today and it was $3 day. We purchased maybe 65 items and paid only $208 (%3 cheaper if you pay cash). This place is better than Ollie’s or other discount stores by a mile. Most of the stuff are probably coming from Amazon returns since we have seen multiple times bunch of Amazon boxes.

    • I went on a Monday morning and this place is horrible. There are very few decent finds. They way the Spanish people were acting by cutting the line and running into the store, you’d think they’d have some amazing finds, but no… just garbage. In my honest opinion, this store is for people who are used to having nothing or who love looking extremely hard for a decent find or two. Because only the those who love a bargain challenge and people who are used to having nothing would find this a good place to shop. Never again for me.

    • Depending on the time of day you go, this Goodwill can be a lot of fun. Don't make the mistake of going right when they open. There's a line of crazy people outside waiting to stampede in through the doors (only three are allowed in at a time). People are so careless and thoughtless while "digging for their treasures." You can be a foot away from them, and they will throw what they've determined to be worthless right at you in the bin you're looking through. The store itself is fantastic, it's just the people that shop that who ruin the experience. And for the love of God, watch out when they bring out new bins; you will get destroyed, as people act like whatever they're bringing out is a once in a lifetime opportunity and there could be millions of dollars hidden inside!
      Crystal
    • Very corrupt. The regular shoppers sell stuff to each other before it leaves the store. This is illegal. You cannot sell the store's inventory but the workers turn a blind eye. A man who wears a hat who people were yelling "Joel" speaking Spanish was selling a bunch of shirts to some kids. Not right or ethical. I used to stop goodwills back in the day and it wasn't this way and they no longer support disabled people when they allow this. Check your cameras and stop allowing theft and bad shoppers in your store

    • I love this place on Sundays. Weekdays not so much, as It gets crowded. They always have good items and affordable prices. The staff is always respectful and respectful and nice to customers. They also have great job opportunities for young adults and others with different skills and needs. I enjoy stopping by once in a while. I recommend this place

    • Was very impressed to see this store. The items are nice. Shoes brand new. Food products for $1 amazing. Shoe selection priced set. Nice that each day reflects a different $ amount for items. Great way to save. A bin full.of wigs🤑$9 or 5 sometimes. Amazing snow boots $10. Great things are spaced out inside. Plenty of natural light. Have to take your time to look, some items the boxes are open and items removed.

    • Decent size store, came on a Tuesday and half was blocked off for restock day Wednesday which sucked a bit. Bins were pretty picked through so not much excitement there. Bought a large mystery box for $25 and it was interesting. Got a mix of Halloween costumes, women's swimwear, doggie diapers and outfits, and graduation stuff. Few gems mixed into that made the box worth the 25 bucks. Would definitely do it again. Took one star off for the half store and super picked through bins.

    • I agree. This one and the one in Hazelton are a poor excuse for merchandise at a bargin. You can get better bargins and merchandise in better condition at good will or salvation army. At least they keep merchandise neat and organized. Bins is an unorganized junk pile. If you have nothing better to do but spend hours looking for anything you MIGHT be able to use...have at it.

    • Sometimes great bargains, found some treasures. The thing that sucks is even cheap stuff is the same price as better stuff but that's how they profit i guess. Also, parts of things can be spread out in multiple bins. The boxes are a rip off. Filled with stuff no one wanted and left over pieces from multiple things.

    • Love this place!!!Crazy good deals, a lot of items are worth over $50 yet you pay $7 at max. Super friendly and helpful staff members. I love going there on Saturday mornings, such a good time. It’s sort of like a treasure hunt and you never know what they have, which is always part of the fun experience. There is so much to see and you always end up finding something unique.

    • It's a hit or miss. If you add them on Facebook you will see the new items that they will have for Saturday. My boyfriend is obsessed this place. I'm kinda annoyed but there are some good deals if you find the right ones.

    • Went last Saturday and realized each day gets cheaper until Friday when stuff is a dollar so went this Friday... Black Friday... And found a bunch of stuff I saw Saturday and grabbed it got the check out and for 13 items total was around 153 dollars for 13 dollars of stuff... So apparently their " Black Friday " sale was everything in the store is 10 dollars. Huge waste of time and after we refused a worker called out letting everyone know the price and I saw families with cart loads of stuff turn white with shock as they left their items in the carts and left dejected. This place has a really cool concept but THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW BLACK FRIDAYS WORK. they claimed it's cause of premium items but seriously it's the same stuff we saw Saturday.

    • It is a road trip that even the kids look forward to. Go and plan to spend time going through the bins. Awesome deals. Helps a single mom supporting her kids on her own. Overall the staff is very nice and seriously awesome deals. One of my favorite thrift stops.

    • This Goodwill store offers clean items that are fairly priced and restroom facilities that are immaculate. Plan on spending some time here because of the size of the store and quantity of product. Additionally, this location houses an outlet in which items are charged by the pound and appears to be a favorite way to shop for many thrifters and resellers. Digging through these large bins of miscellaneous items and clothing, looking for that special something, can be a lot of fun. This is a very nice Goodwill store and Victoria, at checkout, is fabulous.
      Michal
    • Last time I came here was about 2 years ago so its not an updated review but I thought this was a nice outlet compared to some i've been to (looking at you New Castle, DE). I would definitely go back. One thing i remember is that you needed to bring your own bags. I would recommend wearing gloves because unfortunately soiled underwear can end up in the bins.

    • The bins have items just thrown in there. It is difficult to look through and so many things are broken. Im not sure why they can't put things on shelves and organize it like all other Goodwills I have been to. Just seems lazy and like they don't care. Furniture was fairly priced.

    • Some excellent vintage finds, not great for designer, some decent mid-tier brands. Not a large outlet, but clean and well run. The bins turn over fairly regularly, but only a few at a time. Definitely worth a visit for some fun vintage pieces but if you're looking for high-end stuff this is not the place. I spent a few hours and picked up some great 80s and 90s sweaters, denim, T-shirts, blouses, and a few more recent pieces of outerwear. For newer styles in good condition it's all Old Navy, target, American Eagle, etc. Some mid-tier but more older styles, poorer condition and more picked over.
      Mary
    • This bins is one of the more comfortable bins I've ever been too, it is pretty laid back not as many people hawking for stuff. That said- the other comment on lack of high end stuff is true, but I have found some really cute pieces that I wear constantly. The turn over of bins is much lower key too, now in Covid they only change bins once during the day. I also like that there is a store and a bins side by side so you have the choice of your experience. I often make the total rounds of both stores.
      Angela
    • I shop at the outlet three days a week. I always find good things to sell on ebay and mercari. The staff is friendly, respectful and helpful. The regular customers know each other and we treat each other with respect. I love the bins and it is key to my business model.

    • Interesting concept. Surprisingly this store was well kept and organized. The outlet was a good size and not as busy as we thought. Paying for your stuff by the pound is fairl cheap. Got some really good items at a great price.
