Bin Stores in Minnesota

• Treasure hunters delight, the rest of us be warned. I'm not sure how to rate this place. I did miraculously find what I was looking for and it was basically free so I think there are gems to be found here. The problem is you have to be willing to wade through huge vats of junk to find them. Keep in mind a few things: this is the place for goodwill items that didn't sell at the regular stores but it is also a drop site so nicer items do come in, %off coupons aren't accepted here, clothing and small household are sold by the pound, glass and dinnerware are .29 each so some potential deals there, give yourself plenty of time to dig around and checkout lines can be slow, and bring hand sanitizer.

• Those people line up and wait for the bins to be replenished every 15 mins or so then keep digging. Bags are $4 each. Which seems steep. Staff are friendly. You may be able to find something good at a great deal but the overwhelming amount Of aggressive customers on a Tuesday morning are a deterrent. Esp Since several don't wear a mask.

• I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not at all like the negative reviews I read about. It was busy but everyone was courteous and nice. Noticed a few reseller's and the items seemed to be picked thru. I need to find the best time to go for new stock.

• Boy this this place have horrible reviews!! y'all kinda made me scared to go here . With that being said, I had an amazing experience here. The bins are definitely a hit or miss but that's just the way goodwill outlets are. I got a tote bag full of clothes for only 12$ . Unlike the reviews, I had no problem with customer service or shopping carts or anything like that. Just go and do what you need to do and you most likely won't run into any problems. Only thing I would recommend is going earlier in the day because I was told they stop restocking the bins at 4:00pm and after they stop restocking it's hard to find anything you like. I would recommend you go here, chaska is a nice chill place to go thrifting. (I think I like the Brooklyn center location a little more though)

• Easily the worst goodwill I've ever been to confused why it exists at all. I went when there was very few customers the handful of staff I talked to were pretty polite which given how well... Awful the customers are was very surprised. Everything and I mean that laterally EVERYTHING was just complete trash very dirty clothes and the customers were scrambling to buy these sometimes visibly dirty clothes and even hats like they've never seen clothes in their lives. The Chaska regular goodwill is very close by a million times better.

• It's fun to go and see what's there!! Prices are by the day with larger items separately priced. Look over items before you buy they are open box/returns and could be missing parts. I gave it a 4 cuz they buy a truckload of pallets and as the sales go on what didn't sell at the first weekend sale starts over at the first day of sale price with the added new items.

• Clean and well organized with stright forward pricing. Not many pieces from torn apart boxes, etc. cluttering up the bins like I have seen in other places and bins are roughly organized with a theme. Looks like they put up directional signs from RCTC to follow for their first month. Considering how hot it is, would be nice to have shade parking but inside is nice and cool.

• Has potential, but many of the regular customers are very aggressive and dominate the space not allowing others to sort through the bins before they push and shove, and basically grab everything they can from right in front of you! Terrible experience! The staff are more concerned with the "yellow line" than kicking out pushy, rude, and aggressive regulars!!

• The management at this location is the worst I've seen. Period. If I could rate negative stars I would. They don't do anything and the only one that does, the red headed lady, is constantly abusing her power. Today she dumped out a ladies cart, who just for a second walked away from it. The cart had her purse and winter jacket inside of it and they would not let her get her personals back. The poor lady had to walk home in a literal blizzard without her jacket! I've been to MANY Goodwill Outlets all across the country, around 20 different locations, and none of them have treated me or fellow shoppers quite like this one. I've been a loyal customer, coming to this location specifically for 6 years now, and these past few months have been HORRENDOUS. The floor manager loves to lay down the law and treats the customers as if they are a problem she has to deal with.

• Got this brand new car seat... Whatever is boxed, the store owners ensure it works, and have courtesy of showing you. So it's advisable not to unbox it in the floor but call on Associates. They have great deals, the only drawback is, you must come early to pick it up. Check out their Facebook page and get the latest availability and pricing per day.

• One of our favorite shops. I think it's because the owners are so friendly and nice. We make it a point to stop often. Our family loves the mystery packages they sell. Sometimes even for a buck! We most always find a deal. 50 dollar automatic pet feeder for 10 bucks! Scored lots of deals over the months. Never know what you will find. Definitely check them out and if you happen to buy a defective item, they easily accept returns. They will also check item for you. We love this place. Check out the Facebook page. They update all the time. Multiple times a week.

• Good deals, but now they are starting to limit the number of items on Friday and Saturday if you been there in the morning you can grab as many restock items but if you go back during the day when they restock your limited to one. It should be first come first serve they shouldn't limit the customers, just because they were there earlier in the morning. Also if something is posted on the FB page of the items for that day they should be out, some people stand outside the door waiting for it to open for certain items to find only a few in the bins.
