Liquidation stores buy what retailers and marketplaces cannot sell at full price — overstock, customer returns, shelf-pulls, closeouts and undeliverable orders — in pallets and truckloads, and resell it far below retail. Bin-format liquidators ignore retail price entirely: the day's flat price applies to a $6 phone case and a $200 vacuum alike. The most common ladder in the directory runs $10 → $1 across the week (median top price $10, median floor $1).
